Encore Honda, member of Groupe Samatas comprised of 4 Honda dealerships, Leasing and Motorcycles, is seeking a Sales Consultant for our new vehicle department.

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities:

• Bilingual;

• Sales experience (preferably automotive);

• Valid driver’s licence;

• Work: 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday;

• Dynamic, hard-working and motivated;

• Good relationships with the clientele.

Tasks related to the position of sales consultant:

Welcoming the customer, establishing a relationship of trust and demonstrating a serious commitment to customer satisfaction.
Help customers choose a vehicle by asking them questions and listening carefully to their answers in order to properly identify their needs.
Explain to potential customers the performance of products, their operation and their benefits directly in the showroom or via email.
Describe any optional equipment that the customer might purchase.
Offer road tests to any potential customer. Follow the terms and conditions of the dealership to obtain the proper identification from the client prior to the road test.
Explain in a professional way the terms related to the long term lease versus the traditional purchase according to the needs of the customer.
Obtain the required information and complete all the documents necessary to prepare a sale.

Know and understand the notions of market value and residual value and be able to explain the principle of depreciation to clients.
Negotiate the price and get the transaction approved by the sales manager.
Notify the sales manager during an exchange, a refund or the establishment of a credit note.
Submit 100 percent of the transactions to the sales manager, along with any duly completed documentation (insurance information, title of the transaction, etc.).
Prepare and properly inform the client to optimize the meeting with the sales manager.
Define and have management approve and control their annual sales goals.
Review and analyze their activities at the end of each day, week, month and year in order to organize their schedule more efficiently.
Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their customer benefits.
Know and understand all federal, provincial and municipal laws governing retail auto sales.
Attend training courses on products and sales as directed by the Sales Manager.
Tasks related to delivery

Check cars sold for delivery to customers before arrival.
Deliver cars to customers, ensuring they understand the operating features, warranty and documents to be completed.
Introduce customers to service personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the repairs and maintenance provided by the dealership.
Fix the first revision appointment with the after-sales service.
After delivery, follow up on any accessories, documents or other specific requests made to the client to ensure that he meets all his expectations.

Communicate with customers within 48 hours of sale to ensure satisfaction, resolve potential issues
